From the SiriusXM website:

New: Media Matters Radio

Starting this weekend, SiriusXM left will air Media Matters Radio, a live, interactive show from the team behind Media Matters, the Internet-based, progressive research and information center.  Hosted by Ari Rabin-Havt, Executive Vice President of Media Matters, and Bradley Herring, Executive Producer for the site, the two will analyze a mix of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for conservative misinformation and alert listeners to take action.

As a lifelong news 'junkie' (and current journalism student), I am a fan of organizations that set out to expose the disinformation that passes for news these days.  Media Matters for America (MMfA), a not-for-profit research and information center, dedicates itself to identifying and reporting on attempts by conservative media outlets to 'spin' events in favor of their own political ideology.

Founded in 2004 by David Brock, a former right-wing journalist shunned by his conservative colleagues in the late 1990s for writing a somewhat sympathetic biography of then-First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, MMfA employs individuals to review a variety of radio, television, print and internet sources on a daily basis and publish rapid rebuttals to any encountered erroneous or biased items on the organization's own website.

This 2-hour program is set to run for six weeks and will be broadcast on SiriusXM Left (channel 127) on Saturdays from 10AM to 12 noon and Sundays from 11AM until 1PM.
